Envision Country Network Airing 3-Hour Special
This Memorial Day weekend The Country Oldies Show will spend three full hours honoring the life and legacy of legendary musician Merle Haggard. The weekly classic country radio show hosted by veteran personality Steve Warren will feature Haggard’s biggest hits along with stories and memories of his life. This special edition of The Country Oldies Show can be heard on over 100 stations throughout the country.
Started in 1994, The Country Oldies Show is America’s longest running weekly radio program featuring three hours of the greatest country hits from the 1950s to the 1990s. Host Steve Warren has been a radio personality, program director, and radio consultant for over 50 years at legendary radio stations including WIRE Indianapolis; WPTR, Albany; KKYX, San Antonio; and WHN, WKHK, WYNY in New York. He designed and implemented all country music channels for Sirius Satellite Radio. Steve hosts radio programming sessions for broadcasting associations as a fun and motivational public speaker. He is author of RADIO: The Book, now in its Fourth Edition.
